World-class excellence for your eyes.
Cutting-Edge Technology Serving Your Vision
Laser refractive surgery rests on two inseparable pillars: diagnostic precision and treatment reliability. At Oasis Laser Center, we have invested in both with the same level of rigor. Our equipment is not simply modern — it ranks among the absolute global benchmarks in its field. This technological choice is our commitment to you: giving you the best chances of an optimal, safe result.
SCHWIND AMARIS
Record ablation speed
Up to 750 pulses/second: severe myopia (-8 diopters) treated in ~12 seconds, for better tolerance.
Two energy levels
80% at high energy for speed, 20% finely tuned for a smooth surface and halo-free vision.
6D eye-tracking system
Eye-tracking compensates for micro-movements of the eye 1,050 times per second, in 6 dimensions, for absolute precision.
Smart thermal control
Thermal control monitors corneal temperature and adjusts the pace to protect tissue and promote proper healing.
Continuous corneal thickness tracking
Corneal thickness is measured in real time throughout the procedure, a safety net to preserve your cornea.
Personalized ablation profile
The laser is programmed according to your pre-operative assessment for a unique ablation profile, tailored to the exact shape of your cornea.
CSO MS-39
Before treating, one must understand. The CSO MS-39 corneal topographer is a high-tech corneal analysis instrument that combines three technologies in one: corneal topography (surface analysis), optical coherence tomography (OCT) for the deeper layers, and aberrometric measurement. Together, these technologies provide an extremely detailed 3D map of your cornea, from its surface to its innermost layers. What the CSO MS-39 brings to your treatment:
Mapping of corneal curvature across the entire surface — precise identification of the areas to be corrected
Measurement of corneal thickness at every point — crucial for assessing the safety of laser ablation
Detection of corneal irregularities (keratoconus, asymmetries) — to rule out contraindications before the procedure
Aberrometric analysis — measurement of low- and high-order optical aberrations that affect visual quality
Treatment planning data — all information transmitted directly to the SCHWIND laser for treatment calibration
Trans-PKR
Trans-PRK is an evolution of classic PRK, developed to eliminate any mechanical contact with the eye. The SCHWIND AMARIS excimer laser passes directly through the epithelium (the surface layer of the cornea) and reshapes the underlying corneal stroma in a single step, without ever physically touching the eye. It is an entirely non-invasive procedure in its mode of application.
No corneal flap creation
Unlike LASIK, no cutting is performed, preserving the structural integrity of the cornea
High long-term corneal stability
Ideal for active individuals, contact sport athletes, or thinner corneas
Precision. Safety. Personalization. Our technological triptych — serving your vision
Every procedure at Oasis Laser Center begins with one question: "Is this the best solution for this patient?" If the answer is not a clear yes, we do not proceed. The combination of the CSO MS-39 + SCHWIND AMARIS + Trans-PRK technique represents today's best practice in surface refractive surgery. We are proud to offer it to you in Gabès, with the same level of rigor as major international clinics.
